Charisma Carpenter

Charisma Carpenter was born July 23rd on the 23rd of July, 1970. Cordelia Chase was one of the characters in Buffy the Vampire's supernatural drama series (1997-1999), and the spin-off series Angel (1999-04). She also appeared in Charmed (2004), Kendall Casablanca's (2005-2006), Rebecca Sewell (2012-2013) and Lacy (2010-2012) Carpenter was born in Las Vegas (Nevada), the daughter of Christine Carpenter who is an employee of a bird sanctuary as well as Don Carpenter, an entrepreneur. Carpenter has Spanish, French, and German descent (from her maternal grandfather). Carpenter attended Bishop Gorman high school in Las Vegas. Carpenter was also part of a group of dancers and singers which performed in Las Vegas Valley. Carpenter's family moved to Rosario Beach (Baja California, Mexico) at the age of Carpenter was 15. She was a student at Bonita Vista High School and Chula Vista School of the Creative and Performing Arts. After graduation, Carpenter traveled throughout Europe. She returned to San Diego and worked in the video store as an aerobics instructor, property management and as a cashier. In 1991, she was employed as cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers football team. In 1992, she relocated to Los Angeles. She was swimming in San Diego with two male acquaintances when Henry Hubbard Jr., an ex-police officer from San Diego and serial rapist and a serial rapist, attacked the group. The two of them, Henry Hubbard Jr. and her companions were shot in the struggle. Both of them survived. Hubbard was convicted and sentenced to 56 year in prison for a series of rapes, thefts. Carpenter carried Hubbard's police-issued flashlight from the beach, that he had left at the scene and the flashlight was one of the key pieces of evidence against him.
