Roselyn Milagros Sanchez Rodriguez a Puerto Rican model, actress also known as a singer-songwriter, producer, and actress she has earned recognition for her portrayal of Elena Delgado in the CBS police procedural show 'Without a Trace' and Carmen Luna in the Lifetime comedy-drama "Devious Maids'". She also appeared in films such as "Rush Hour 2" and 'Boat trip', The Game Plan' and "Act of Valor. An San Juan native, Sanchez began showing an interest in acting and dancing when she was a teenager and would often perform for her family. In 1991, she relocated to New York and began attending acting, dancing, and singing classes. Her screen debut was in the comedy-action film "Captain Ron,". A few years later she was offered her first major role as Pilar Domingo in the CBS soap opera 'As The World turns'. Sanchez was awarded the ALMA Award as Outstanding Actress in a Drama Television Series. She also won the Contribution Achievement Award at the 2018 Raul Julia Foundation Awards. Her first and only studio album, "Borinquena", was released in 2003. After Roselyn Sanchez returned to Puerto Rico, she was chosen to be in her first film in the 1992 adventure film "Captain Ron". The film was directed by Thom Eberhardt, the film was shot in part in Puerto Rico. Her first success was as a dancer on her island. In later years, she was host of a variety show called "QueVacilon". In 1993, she became the winner of the Miss Puerto Rico Petite contest. In addition, she was called Miss American Petite the year following. This garnered her international recognition. It has brought her international attention. She was named on a variety of lists of beautiful women, including Maxim Magazine's Hot 100 in 2001, 2002, and 2006.
