Missy Peregrym Bio

Peregrym began her professional career at the Lizbell Agency when she was 18 years old. It was during her initial modeling career that she was urged by her agency to switch over to commercials.Due to this shift from screen to print, she did commercials for Mercedes-Benz, Sprint Canada, and for the Olympic Games. Peregrym's debut as an actor was in the year 2000 on a Vancouver episode of Dark Angel. Building upon her debut role, she performed in guest roles in The Chris Isaak Show, The Chris Isaak Show, Black Sash, Jake 2.0, Smallville, Tru Calling, Life as We Know It, Andromeda, Heroes, and in the TV movie Call Me: The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss. Peregrym's film debut was in 2006, when she played the leading role in Stick It. The film is about a rebellious teenager forced to return to gymnastics after her appearance in Catwoman (2004). Peregrym then was chosen to play Candice Wilmer, an illusion-generating Candice on Heroes. The character was described by promotional materials as "a female sexual entice". [8] Peregrym was scheduled to be in "Parasite", however she only made her debut appearance in an episode entitled "Company Man" the week before. Peregrym was her first television leading role between 2007 and the year 2009. Nikki Reed initially played the part in the pilot that was never aired. Reaper was about a young man named Sam who became a bounty hunter for the devil.
