Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is an actress from the United Kingdom.
She is a British actress as well as a Canadian actor. Her character as Samantha
Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is her most well-known. She earned
five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she
won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. In the movies Sex and the
City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010), she reprised the character. Cattrall
made her debut in film in Rosebud (1975) and was later seen in several
television roles. With films like Ticket to Heaven (1981), Police Academy
(1984), Hold-Up (85) (also known as City Limits(85), Big Trouble in Little
China [86], Mannequin[] (1987), Masquerade in 1988), Midnight Crossing in 1989,
and The Return of the Musketeers in 1989, Cattrall became a household name.
Tribute (1980), Porky's (81) and Turk 182(85), and Baby Geniuses (999) were
only a few occasions in which she appeared alongside Bob Clark. Other credits
include The Bonfire of the Vanities (1990), Star Trek VI The Undiscovered
Country (91), Split Second (1992), Above Suspicion (95), and 15 Minutes
(192001).
